Does Moosend offer a free trial?
Yes, you can start with a 30-day free trial and explore all core features, including the email builder, templates, AI Writer, automations, segmentation, and landing page and form design. You’ll also get unlimited email sends (for up to 1,000 contacts) and access to email and live chat support. The free trial gives you a full hands-on experience before you commit to a paid plan.
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No, you can start your free trial without a credit card. Just create a Moosend account and you’re in, no commitment required.
What happens after the free trial ends?
When your free trial ends, you can either upgrade to a subscription plan or purchase email credits. Your account and all your data stay intact. You’ll regain full access as soon as you upgrade.
What payment methods does Moosend support?
Moosend accepts credit cards and PayPal. You can also add multiple payment methods to your account for future use.
What happens when my contacts grow beyond my current plan?
If your email list size exceeds the limit of your current plan, you’ll need to upgrade to a plan that supports more contacts. A notification banner will appear in your account to alert you. To avoid disruptions, we recommend checking your subscription limits and upgrading as needed. Note that Moosend counts unique email addresses. If the same subscriber appears in multiple lists or segments, you’re only billed once.
Can I downgrade if my list shrinks?
Yes, if your email list becomes smaller, you can downgrade your plan anytime. The change will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, whether it’s monthly, bi-annual, or annual, so you won’t lose any time you’ve already paid for.
Does Moosend offer any discounts?
Yes, you can get 15% off bi-annual plans and 20% off annual plans. Moosend also offers nonprofit organizations a 25% discount, which can be applied on top of the standard 20% discount for annual plans.
Is there a pay-as-you-go option for occasional senders?
Yes, you can purchase email credits to send campaigns whenever you need. Each credit equals one email to a single recipient. To avoid interruptions, you’ll get a notification when you’ve used 80% of your credits. Note that the email credits you purchase for your Moosend account never expire, so you can use them at your own pace.
